Stow Field Hockey Ends Senior Night with Dominating Win over Orange
As the 2024 campaign is slowly coming to a close, the Stow-Munroe Falls field hockey team hosted their senior night match against the visiting Orange Lions. The Bulldogs were looking to bounce back after taking a loss to the visiting Hathaway Brown Trailblazers 6-0.
The Bulldogs came out with a dominant 9-0 victory over the Lions, as Junior Addison Bottger led with a 3 goal hat trick, while Senior Maddie Mercurio followed with 2 goals. In a mostly offensive game, the Bulldogs had 28 shots on goal, while utilizing 16 offensive penalty corners.
With the win, the Bulldogs advance to a 5-7 record as they prepare to take on the Western Reserve Academy Pioneers on October 2nd at 5pm. The Lions will fall to a 0-7 record as they will return to Pepper Pike to take on the visiting Kent Roosevelt Rough Riders on September 24th at 5pm.
