Revere Survives Shootout over Stow-Munroe Falls

The Revere Girls lacrosse team took down the Stow-Munroe Falls Bulldogs in a 28 goal shootout 16-12 on a sunny Thursday evening.
The Bulldogs entered the half with a 5 goal deficit against a heavily talented Minutemen team, yet they kept at it, scoring 6 goals in the 3rd quarter to bring it to a 13-11 game entering the fourth. Three Minutemen goals in the fourth however, was enough to ice the game for the 16-12 win and an end to a matchup of two very talented Suburban League teams.
Senior Attacker Clarissa Bodjanic led the Minutemen with 5 goals, 2 assists and 12 draw controls, while sophomore Midfielder Bentley Huffman followed with 4 goals, 1 assist and 4 draw controls, and sophomore Midfielder Taylor Catlett added 4 goals and a draw control. In the net, sophomore Fiona Rogers finished the night with 4 saves.
For the Bulldogs, senior Midfielder Kenzie Gash led with 4 goals, sophomore Midfielder Aubrey Owens followed with 3 goals and 2 ground balls, senior Midfielder Amber Shinsky added 2 goals and 2 draw controls, and junior Attacker Kylie Kramer tallied 2 goals, 2 assists, 3 draw controls and a ground ball. In the net, junior Regan Scott finished with 10 saves on the night.
