Bulldogs Claims Victory on Senior Night over Twinsburg

The Stow-Munroe Falls Swim team ended their senior night in fashion with a monstrous victory over the Twinsburg Tigers 225 to 111. After an ecstatic electric guitar National Anthem performance by Bulldogs senior Zach Gallagher, the male Bulldogs combined for a score of 106 to 61 over the Tigers, while the Lady Bulldogs collected 119 to 50.

5 swimmers claimed 1st place two times in the meet, with 4 of them from Stow-Munroe Falls. For the women’s, Bulldogs’ Kaitlyn Casalinova claimed first in the 200 yard Freestyle and the 500 yard Freestyle, while Andie Russell won the 50 yard Freestyle and the 100 yard Backstroke, and Savannah Cossin finished 1st in the 100 yard butterfly and the 100 yard breaststroke. For the males, Bulldogs’ Luke Turnbull won the 200 yard Freestyle and the 100 yard Butterfly, while Twinsburg’s Andrew P Popovic took the 50 yard Freestyle and the 100 yard Freestyle.

In the Relays, the Bulldogs dominated all night, claiming first in every relay event to collect a score of 48-0 over the Tigers. Bulldogs’ Emma Sanicky, Kaitlyn Casalionva, and Savannah Cossin each were a part of two 1st place finishes for the women’s, while Lincoln May, Carson May, Nathan Edwardson, Nathan Lee, and Will Novak all were a part of two 1st place finishes each for the men’s.
