The Jackson Lady Polar Bears kicked off the 2023 Lady Viking Classic with a dominant 48-28 win over Canton Central Catholic. Tiffin commit Guard Megan Campbell led the Polar Bears with 11 points, while Guard Ashley Lahmers added 9 points for the Polar Bears. Crusaders Forward Lily Belden finished with a team-high 11 points, while Guard Grace Finefrock followed with 9 points.
Dalton Pulls Off Upset over Woodridge 49-46
In the second game of Day 1, the Dalton Bulldogs pulled off an upset victory over the Woodridge Bulldogs 49-46. Guard Kendall Maibach led the game with 18 points, while Guard Mei Simmons and Guard Jacey Clark followed with 9 points each for the Bulldogs. Finishing off the first day of the Classic, the Brunswick Blue Devils took down the host Hoover Vikings 45-24. Kent State commit Journey Hildebrand finished the night with a 25 point performance to lead the Lady Blue Devils to victory. Guard Lauren Moore and Forward Olivia Yocum finished with 5 points each, while Guard Evie Burke added 4 points on the night.

Brecksville Stings the Crusaders 55-29 to Kick Off Day 2
Kicking off the second day of the Viking Classic, the Brecksville Broadview-Heights Bees took down the Canton Central Catholic Crusaders 55-29. Guard Jessie Zenir led the Bees with 12 points, while Guard Emily Meicher followed with 8 points. Guard Grace Finefrock finished with 11 points, while Guard Emily Schmidt followed with 6 points for the Crusaders.
Jackson Continues Dominance with 52-18 Win over Woodridge
In the second matchup, the Jackson Polar Bears won their 8th straight with a dominant 52-18 victory over the Woodridge Bulldogs. Guard Madison Lepley finished the game with 17 points, while Guard Ashley Lahmers followed with 15 points. Cam Hoover finished with 11 points while Guard Allison Martin followed with 7 points for the Bulldogs.
Lady Vikings Captures 1st Win of the Season over Walsh Jesuit 52-47
In the last game of the 2023 Lady Viking Classic, the host Hoover Vikings captured their first win of the season over the Walsh Jesuit Warriors 52-47. Forward Aubrey Fisher led the Lady Vikings with 17 points, while Guard Lauren Moore followed with 15 points in the victory.
